me to use your
mask ;-)
Take an
image/tube of your choice,
resize to 350
pixels high,
choose to
colors from the image,
one light
(background)and one dark ( foreground)
Make a
gradient,
with these
settings:
-
Angle:
125
-
Repeats: 1
-
Style:
Linear
-
Invert:
unchecked
|

Open a new canvas, size 500 x 500 pixels
Fill with your
light color
Add a new
raster layer,
fill with your
gradient.
Effects - Image
Effects -- Offset,
with these
settings:

Layers -- Load/Save mask -- Load mask from disk,
find the
Susan19 mask and apply.
Layers --
Delete mask layer
and reply "yes"
to the question.
Layers -- Merge
-- Merge Group.
Effects --
Filter Effects --
FM Tile Tools
-- Blend Emboss,
with the
standard settings.
Activate your tube.
Copy and Paste
as new layer onto the canvas.
Image -- Resize to 85%
"reduce all
layers" NOT CHECKED.
Lock your layer
2 ( it is the mask layer)
make sure your
tube layer is active.
Go to Effects
-- Filter Effects -- L&K Filters --
Dijn, with
these settings:

Layers -- Merge
-- Merge All.
Activate your Magic Wand,
with the
Tolerance and Feather values set on 0.
Select the
colored part
and press
delete on your keyboard ( the bigger part vanishes)
Selections --
Select None ( Ctrl+D)
Layers -- Duplicate
Image -- Flip
Image
-- Mirror
Position this
layer so that the bigger parts
fit onto each
other.
Layers -- Merge
-- Merge Visible.
Effects -- Filter Effects --FM Tile Tools --
Blend Emboss,
with the standard settings.
Repeat this
blend emboss effect once.
Effects -- 3D
Effects -- Drop Shadow,
with these
settings:
-
Vertical: 1
-
Horizontal: 1
-
Opacity: 59
-
Blur:
20.00
-
Color:
black
|
Reduce the opacity of this layer to 30%
in your layers
palette.
Activate your
tube again.
Copy and Paste
as a new layer onto the canvas.
Image -- Resize
to 85%
Reduce the
opacity of this layer to 32%
in your layers
palette.
Repeat the same
drop shadow.
Layers -- New Raster Layer.
Selections --
Load/Save Selections --
Load selection
from disk,
find the
GD-sel 5 selection and apply.
Fill with your gradient
Selections --
Select None.
Image -- Rotate
-- Free Rotate
Rotate 90
degrees to the right
Repeat the same
drop shadow as before.
1 -1-59-2.00 - black
Use your Mover
tool to drag this layer into position
(it should be
just above the tube)
Layers --
Duplicate.
Image -- Flip
Image --
Mirror.
Layers -- New Raster Layer.
Selections --
Load/Save selections --
Load selection
-- find the
Dia sel 4
selection and apply.
Fill the
selection with your dark color.
Keep selected.
Selections --
Modify
Selections --
Contract by 1 pixel.
Fill the
selection with your gradient.
Selections --
Select None ( Ctrl+D).
Remain on this
layer.
Effects --
Filter Effects -- Filters Unlimited 2.0
Lens Effects,
with these settings:

Go to Filters Unlimited again
and choose the
Refractor 1 effect again.
But this time
change
the values to
the default settings.
Effects -- 3D
Effects -- Drop Shadow,
same drop
shadow as before.
Layers --
Duplicate
Image -- Flip
Position it with your Mover tool on the squares
at the bottom.
Layers --
Arrange -- Move Down.
Repeat this
step once.
If it worked
your layer will now be below the squares.
Layers --
Duplicate
Image --
Rotate, with the same settings as before.
Drag it into
place.

Activate your
tube again.
Copy and Paste
as new layer onto the canvas.
Image -- Resize to 85%
Repeat one more
time.
Effects -- 3D
Effects -- Drop Shadow, the same settings
as before.
Drag the tube to the bottom left
( as seen in my
example tag).
Unlock your
bottom layer( the mask layer).
Add a new
raster layer
and fill with
your light color.
Layers -- Arrange --Move down.
You can add your text now.
I used the"
Bankgothic Md Bt"- font, size 48.
Keep your
colors as it is.
Repeat the same
drop shadow as before.
Layers -- Merge
-- Merge All.
Image -- Add
Borders of 1 pixel in your dark color.
Reduce the size
of your image.
And your Tag is
finished ;-)
