MATERIALS NEEDED:

hier  Ivy made the nice brush we are using.

Jazzl and Vivarant tubed the images.

Please keep the watermarks on the images intact.

Download the supplies.

 

FILTERS NEEDED:
Unlimited 2
Texturizer


 

  • Save the filters in your filter file

  • Save the metal image in your PSP tube files if you don't have it

  • Save the 'paper65' in your PSP Texture folder

  • Remember to save often.

1. Copy the texture image in the zip file to the Texturizer filter.
Import the brushes into PSP.
Save the other images in a folder of your choice.

2.Open the tubes in PSP and minimize for now.

3.Open a new transparent canvas, size 600 x 600 pixels.

4. Change your foreground color to #fdf3d8
Floodfill the canvas.

5. Effects - Filter Effects - Texturizer -
click on the arrow next to 'Texture'
and find the  'JC_098' - texture where you saved it.


6. Selections - Select all.
Selections - Modify - Contract by 20 pixels
Fill with your foreground color.
Deselect.

7. Activate your Selection Tool - Rectangle.
Draw a shape as seen in the example below:


8. New raster layer!!!

9. Fill the selection with this color: #e1cdb3
Selections - Select None.

10. Effects - Filter Effects - I.C.Net Software's Filters Unlimited 2 -
Edges, Square - Square Edge 04.
Apply with the default settings.

11. Open the' border_Jazzl_55'- tube.
Edit - Copy
On your canvas: Edit - Paste as new layer.
Duplicate this layer and drag it to the bottom
so that it forms a nice border.



12. Layers -- Merge -- Merge Down

13. Add a drop shadow:
Vertical = 0
Horizontal = 11
Opacity = 50
Blur = 5.00
Color = Black

14. Add a new raster layer.
Activate your Selection Tool -- Freehand
with these settings:


Draw a selection on the right, more or less like this:


Change your background color to #fdf3d8 and click on the
Texture option in the menu.
Choose a texture or use the 'paper65' - texture included in the zip.


Floodfill the selection with this texture by right-clicking
with your mouse in the selection.

Selections - Selection None.

15. Activate the Eraser Tool and
erase around the border so that it softens the image up a bit.

Change the Blend Mode to 'Hard Light'
in your Layers palette.

16. Copy and Paste the text-tube onto the canvas ( as a new layer)
Refer to the example of the finished image above.

17. Add a new layer.
Change your foreground color to #9f8865.
Activate your Brush Tool and find the ' Ivy stamp3 001 '-brush.
Apply with these settings:


18. Open the strings tube.
Copy and paste as new layer onto the canvas.
Drag it into position.
Duplicate this layer and drag
these strings next to the others.

19. Add a new layer.
Draw a rectangled selection for your image-tube to fit in nicely.
Open your image tube.
Copy and paste into the selection.
Change the opacity of this layer to 57% and the
Blend Mode to 'Luminance(Legacy)'.
Selections - Select None.
Apply a drop shadow with these settings:
Vertical and Horizontal = 2
Opacity = 50
Blur = 5.00
Color = Black

20. Effects - Filter Effects - Mura Meisters -- Copies
and apply with these settings:




21. Change the Blend Mode of this layer to 'Luminance(Legacy)'.
You can erase some of the strings if you feel like it.
Just make sure that you are on the right layer when you do it:-))
 

22. Open the 'bfd-washerembel'- tube.
Copy and paste as a new layer onto the canvas.
Resize this layer ( with 'Resize All Layers' NOT CHECKED)
Drag it to the bottom left corner.
 Change the Blend Mode of this layer to 'Luminance(Legacy)'.
Click with your Magic Wand in the image.
Selections -- Modify -- Expand -- 4 pixels.

23. NEW LAYER
Fill with your light color.
Selections -- Select None.
Drag this layer below the previous layer.

24. Activate your top layer.

25. Now change your colors to  look like this:

 

26. Foreground: #a8916d - background: #fefdde


27. New layer!!!

28. Activate your Selection Tool and choose the 'Rounded Rectangle'-option.
Draw a selection that will become the name tag.
Fill the selection with a dark foreground color.
Selections -- Modify -- Contract by 2 pixels.
Fill with your light color.
Effects -- Filter Effects -- Filters Unlimited:
Paper Textures - Hemp paper 1 -
apply with the settings:
Intensity = 94
Lightness = 103
as seen below:

Selections - Select None.

29. Find a font of your choice and type your name
in the name tag.
Repeat the same drop shadow as before.

30. Layers - Merge Down.

31. Activate your Deformation Tool ('d' on your keyboard)
Rotate the name tag and place it where you like it.
You can resize it as well.
Add a drop shadow:
Vertical and horizontal = 2
Opacity = 50
Blur = 5
Color = Black

32. Make a selection of a piece of the string.
Paste it as a new layer onto the name tag.
Resize if necessary.
Choose one of the buttons in the 'R&R_Accents_Eyelets.psp' image
and paste as a new layer onto your string.
Paste the piece of string once again.
Resize the same percentage as before.
Position it to look as though one part goes over and one part below.
Merge the nametag-, strings-, and the button layers.
Now you can arrange it where you like it.

33. You can add some more text if you prefer it.
Change your colors to gradient
with these settings:


Now you can add the text 'Scrap' to the image.
Apply the same drop shadow as before.

34. Use your Deformation Tool again to rotate and drag the text where you like it.

35. You can add another tube to give the impression of the text being 'fixed'.
Open your Tube Tool, find the 'Metall balls'-tube and apply
with these settings:


Change the Blend mode to 'Luminance(Legacy)' again.
Add the same drop shadow as before.
You can merge these two layers to enable you to drag it
where you want it.

36. Image - Add Borders - 1 pixels - dark color.
There are so many possibilities.
Just have fun with it!
