  • Safe the filters in your Filters file
    Import the Photo Aging kit into Unlimited 2
  • Safe the paperclips-tube in your PSP -tube folder.
  • Open the font and minimize it to your bottom taskbar.
  • Safe the other supplies in a folder of your choice.
  • Remember to safe often!
     
  • If you prefer to use your own images you can adjust the color of the supplied
    pics by colorizing it. Go to Adjust -- Hue/Saturation --Colorize  to do that.
  1. Open a new transparent image, size 600 x 600 pixels.
     
  2. Layers -- New Raster Layer
    Selections -- Select All
     
  3. Open the 'centre.jpg'
    Edit - Copy
    Edit - Paste into Selection.
     
  4. Open the ' frame.pspimage' .
    Edit - Copy
    Edit - Paste as new layer.
     
  5. Open the 'bw_dubbel_stiksel'- tube
    Image - Rotate - To the Left
    Edit -- Copy
    Edit -- Paste as new Layer.
    Image -- Resize  - 80% - Smart Size - 'Resize all Layers NOT CHECKED!
    Position it to the left.
     
  6. Layers - New Raster Layer.
     
  7. Activate your Selection Tool:

     
  8. Go to 'View' on your top toolbar and in the drop-down menu,
    activate the Rulers. Draw a selection beginning at  150 - 150
    and end at 450 - 450.
     
  9. Open your image (or photo)
    Edit - Copy
     
  10. Activate your canvas.
    Edit - Paste as New Layer.
    Image - Resize - 80% - Smart Size - 'Resize All Layers' NOT CHECKED.
    Position the image so that the nice part fit within the selection.


     
  11. Selections - Invert
     
  12. Press the  DELETE key on your keyboard
     
  13. Selections - Invert
     
  14. LAYERS - NEW RASTER LAYER!!!!!!
     
  15. Fill the selection with a dark color that blends well with your work.
     
  16. Selections - Modify -- Contract by 3 pixels.
    Press DELETE on your keyboard.
    Selections -- Select None.
     
  17. Layers - Merge - Merge Down
     
  18. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow, with these settings:
    Vertical and Horizontal = 2
    Opacity = 41
    Blur = 9.50
    Color = Black.
     
  19. Open the 'a-dozi's kofferecken_01'- tube.
    First copy the corner.
    Paste as new layer.
    Drag it to the top left corner.

     
  20. Copy the ball.
    Paste as new layer.
    Duplicate twice.
    Position them.


     
  21. Lock all layers, except the top 4.
    Activate one of the top 4 and merge these layers visible.
     
  22. Layers - Duplicate.
    Image - Mirror.
    Layers - Merge - Merge Down.
    Apply the same drop shadow as before.
    In your Layers Palette - Image - All Layers
     
  23. Open the 'a-dozi's lugage'- tube.
    Copy and paste as new layer onto the canvas.
     
  24. Image - Resize - 80%.
    Repeat 1x.

     
  25. Adjust - Sharpness - Unsharp Mask:

     
  26. Repeat the same drop shadow as before.
     
  27. Open the 'riempje'- tube.
    Edit - Copy.
    Edit - Paste as new layer.
    Image - Resize - 80% - Smart Size - ' Resize all layers'  NOT CHECKED.
     
  28. Adjust - Sharpness - Unsharp Mask
    Apply with the same settings as before.
     
  29. Position it on a nice spot.
    (View the example tag above.)
     
  30. Open the'  a-dozi's RC' - tube.
    Edit - Copy - Paste as new Layer.
    Position the buckle to fit exactly.

     
  31. Layers - Merge - Merge Down
    Apply the same drop shadow as before.
     
  32. Activate your Text Tool and find the ' Mom's Typewriter' - font.

     
  33. Type the text of your choice.
    Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow, with these settings:
    Vertical and Horizontal = 2
    Opacity = 41
    Blur = 9.50
    Color = Black
     
  34. Image - Add Borders - 1 pixel - symmetrical in a dark color from the image.
     
  35. Image - resize - to 430 x 430 pixels.
    Adjust - Sharpness - Unsharp Mask
    Apply with the same settings as before.
     
  36. Effects - Filter Effects  - Xero - Porcelain

     
  37. Minimize this image now. We will need it later again.
     
  38. Open a new transparent image, size 700 x 550 pixels.
    Selections -- Select All.
     
  39. Open the "wereldkaart"- image.( worldmap)
    Edit - Copy
    Edit - Paste into Selection
    Selections - Select None.
     
  40. Effects - Filter Effects - Filters Unlimited 2 - Photo Aging Kit - Coffee Ring:

    Horizontal Position = 225
    Vertical Position = 42
     
  41. Activate the tag you have just made.
    Edit - Copy.
    Edit - Paste as a new layer onto the new canvas.
     
  42. Use your Deformation Tool (' d'  on your keyboard)
    to rotate the tag.
     
  43. Effects - Filter Effects  - Mura Meisters Copies:

     
  44. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow:
    Vertical and Horizontal = 5
    Opacity = 41
    Blur = 9.50
    Color = Black
     
  45. NEW RASTER LAYER.
     
  46. Open the ' Geisha' - tube.
     
  47. Activate your Clone Tool
    with these settings:

     
  48. Place the clone tool on the eye as seen below:

     Right-click with your mouse.
     
  49. Cautiously click on your canvas to paste the eye - with your left mouse button.
    Begin on the right side of your canvas.
    Not too thick!! It should still remain transparent:

     
  50. Now you can add all sorts of tidbits.
    Activate your Tube Tool and find the paperclips.

    Apply a few paperclips to the canvas.

    **You can apply each paperclip on its own layer, as well
    as apply it in different size. This way you can shift them around.
    Just merge the paperclip layers when you're finished. **

     
  51. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow with the same settings as in step 38.
     
  52. Open the ' scktgz~envelopes' - tube.
    Copy and paste as a new layer onto the canvas.
    Drag it to the bottom right.
     
  53. Add your name or watermark.
    Image -- Add Borders -- 1 pixel in your dark color.
    Save as a jpg.

    There are so many possibilities to explore.
